The Traditional Roles

Typical for renovations, homeowners often work directly with an Architect or with a Contractor. But their roles are limited - the Architect will design the space but cannot pull permits for mechanical and plumbing work. The Contractor will supply and construct but will have a hard time designing energy efficient systems.
