Maxwell Chien, PE, LEED AP BD+C

With 15 years of experience in the architectural engineering industry, Max is passionate at intertwining Architecture and MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) design, together with interiors and sustainability.

Max has worked with many large and mid-size Engineering firms for the past 15 years and has an impressive track record of delivering projects ranging from $3 million to $120 million, including LEED, Passive House, and Living Building Challenge certified projects. He's even a recipient of the prestigious CSE 2019 40 under 40 award.

But his true passion has always been renovating apartments and townhouses. Starting with his first fixer upper in 2012, Max has fixed and sold multiple properties and has helped many friends and Clients with their own renovations. Always with sustainability in mind, Max is thoughtful in material choices, mechanical systems, and energy efficient appliances when designing a project.

On his free time, Max loves to work on restoration projects in his 1900 Brownstone and traveling with his partner Diego and their pup Dolli.
